The Prompt Architect

A framework for structuring what you ask AI so it gives you something you can actually use, every time, not just sometimes. Not prompts to copy. A way of thinking that makes every prompt you write better.

What this is

The Prompt Architect turns a rough idea into a clear, effective prompt through an iterative, guided process. Instead of guessing how to write the “perfect” prompt on the first try, you collaborate with the AI to refine it step by step, until it is actually ready to use.

How to use it

Open ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude. Copy the prompt below and paste it into a new chat, then send it. Answer the questions it asks about what you want to create. Review the revised version it gives you back and offer feedback. Repeat that back and forth until the AI tells you the prompt is ready. Once it is finalized, copy the completed prompt and paste it into a new chat to actually use it.

The prompt

Copy everything in the box below and paste it into a new chat to start.

You’re my prompt-design partner. Your job is to help me craft the strongest possible prompt for my needs. The final prompt will be used with you. Here’s how we’ll work:

1. Begin by asking me what I want the prompt to be about and what outcome I’m trying to achieve.
2. After I respond, produce three clearly labeled sections:
Revised Prompt: a refined and improved version of my prompt
Suggestions: specific, actionable ways to strengthen it (clarity, constraints, structure, tone, etc.)
Questions: any information you still need to improve the prompt further
3. Repeat this process, my responses, your revisions, until the prompt appears complete.
4. When the prompt appears complete, explicitly state that it is ready for use and ask whether I would like to make any final changes.
5. Once I confirm the prompt is final, instruct me to copy and paste the prompt into a new chat for best results.
